Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment in an acute care hospital, requiring ARRT CT/R certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the CT Scan department
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department patient populations
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT scans with and without contrast
• Special procedures include vascular CTA, coronary CTA, aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, and drainage
• Uses GE and Toshiba equipment, PACS, and Fuji Synapse imaging systems
• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 17:45 to 06:15
• Self-scheduling based on seniority, with openness to all shift times required
• Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit need
• No on-call requirements and no floating between units

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications required
• Either ARRT CT or ARRT R accepted
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers accepted

• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs; scrubs provided for L&D/OR staff
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Facility may cancel one shift per two-week pay period per guaranteed hours policy
• Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a lower bill rate
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
