Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience to treat a diverse orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a rehabilitation center
• Schedule: Mon/Wed 10:30a-7p, Tues/Thurs/Fri 7:30a-4p
• Weekend requirement on Fridays only
• No call requirements
• Uses Epic for documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• NH state license required if applicable
• Experience treating orthopedic conditions including ankle sprains, DDD, DJD, hip fractures, knee and shoulder injuries, and spinal conditions
• Skilled in modalities such as ultrasound, e-stim, cryotherapy, and traction
• Proficient in patient assessment, documentation, and use of assistive devices
• Experience with total joint replacement and post-surgical rehabilitation preferred
• Knowledge of home exercise program development and patient/family education

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation for outpatient orthopedic patients
• Familiarity with billing types including Medicare, Medicaid, and workers' compensation preferred
• Open to first-time travelers
• Former staff at this facility are not eligible for consideration
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
