Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Critical Care Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting focused on critical care patients
  • ER patient ratio of 4:1
  • Night shift schedule with 4x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
  • Weekend rotation required
  • Uses Cerner for charting

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Current certifications required prior to start: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing services within a fast-paced Emergency Department
  • One holiday RTO request may be submitted for one of the following: Thanksgiving (Nov 26-27), Christmas (Dec 24-25), or New Year's (Dec 31-Jan 1)
  • No block scheduling permitted
