Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment at a Level 1 trauma center requiring EPIC experience and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

  • Medical/Surgical unit (9A) in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
  • Common diagnoses include general medical/surgical and overflow oncology cases
  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
  • Deferred scheduling type with no block scheduling approved
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA state or Compact) currently in hand
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical specialty
  • Experience in high-volume, high-acuity trauma hospital settings required
  • Proven success managing critical, fast-paced, large-scale trauma cases
  • Work history/resume must show no gaps greater than 60 days
  • Candidates from small or low-volume hospital backgrounds will not be considered

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care for general medical/surgical and oncology overflow patients on a high-acuity trauma unit
  • No RTO permitted during the assignment
  • Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
  • Documentation required for consideration includes skills checklist, certification cards, and Nursys license verification
