Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level III-B NICU position requiring at least one year of recent Level III NICU experience and current AZ or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 33-bed Level III-B NICU caring for premature and medically complex newborns
• Broad range of neonatal acuity, from feeders/growers and transitional care to critically ill neonates
• Advanced respiratory support including conventional ventilators, HFOV and iNO
• Central and arterial line management, bedside procedures, and stabilization of critically ill neonates
• Night shift schedule of 19:00-07:30, 3x12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
• 13-week assignment with 2 open positions
• Must be open to working any day of the week as self-scheduling is not offered

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Level III NICU experience required
• BLS, NRP, and ACLS (as applicable) certifications required
• Experience caring for critically ill neonates and managing advanced respiratory support required
• Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Social Security Number (full or last 4) required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, respiratory therapists, and a multidisciplinary care team
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across a wide range of neonatal acuity and diagnoses
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Keep requested time off (RTO) to less than 7 days
• Returning permanent employees must obtain MSP approval prior to consideration
