Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring 1+ years ER experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting with 14 beds
• Serves patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses MedHost EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• Call requirements as needed
• Floating as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, HWC, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1+ years of ER experience required
• Must hold certification/licensure to work as an RN in Kentucky

Additional Information

• Care for a diverse patient population presenting with various diagnoses and treatment needs
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Any scrub color accepted; casual attire not permitted
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
