Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Community hospital setting on a 43-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Care for a variety of patients including cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, opiate/alcohol withdrawal, and GI cases
- Common cases include chest pain rule out, post-op recovery (gallbladder, appendectomy, GYN, colectomy), pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID, and flu
- Patient ratios of 5-6:1
- Uses Cerner CIS for charting
- 3x12-hour AM shifts, 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care across a diverse med/surg/tele patient population in a community hospital environment
