Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Cardiology unit requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Cardiac Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00PM-7:00AM
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
- May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic EMR charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, and implementation of interventions for a designated patient group
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation to support coordinated care across the healthcare team
- Identifies and reports safety hazards, contributing to a culture of safety
- Collaborates with peers, offering constructive feedback and engaging in ongoing professional development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days during the 13-week contract
