Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health Pediatric position, open to first-time travelers, providing in-home OT services to pediatric patients.

Details

  • Home health setting providing pediatric occupational therapy
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Average of 10 patients per day with 21 visits per week
  • Covers designated territory including zip codes 78233, 78148, 78154, 78108, 78217, and 78218
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between patient visits
  • No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

  • OTR certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Pending license not accepted
  • Experience with pediatric occupational therapy in a home health setting

Additional Information

  • Perform comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders using clinical judgment
  • Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers
  • Collaborate and coordinate care across providers and disciplines as part of the patient's care team
  • Complete required minimum weekly patient visits per agency standards
  • Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other required documentation
  • Attend meetings with agency personnel to stay aligned with care quality expectations
  • Adhere to all applicable agency policies, procedures, and pediatric home health regulations
  • Dress code includes scrubs, jeans, t-shirts, and closed-toed shoes
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
