Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a combined Med/Surg-Post Partum unit on nights, requiring 1+ years of Med/Surg experience and comfort with a mixed patient population.

Details

• Combined Med/Surg and Post Partum unit within a women's hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 12-week contract assignment
• Must be comfortable caring for a combined Med/Surg and Post Partum patient population

Requirements

• Active RN license (AR state or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP certification required, though it may be completed prior to start if not held at time of application
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across combined Med/Surg and Post Partum patient populations
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Previous CHS facility perm staff employment within the past 2 years disqualifies candidates from consideration for this travel position
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
