Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a combined Med Surg/Emergency Department role requiring 2 years of experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

Combined Med Surg/ED unit with 6 med surg beds and 3 ER beds
Covers inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients along with ED and outpatient infusion needs
Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, post-op ortho, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive
12-hour night shift schedule
Uses Athena EMR
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
AHA Procedural Sedation Module certification required
Certifications and license must be active and listed on profile

Additional Information

Provide nursing care across med surg and emergency department settings
Manager interview required prior to offer
ASAP start required
