Description
American Traveler is hiring a Contract RN for an Endoscopy unit requiring endoscopy experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Endoscopy unit with 2 procedure rooms located in the main building basement
- Staffing includes 2 RNs and 3 techs on day shift
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Uses GI equipment and scopes for procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP
- Meditech EMR used
- Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Call required 1-2 days per week
- No weekend shifts or weekend call required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- 1 year of recent endoscopy experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit supporting GI procedures
- Flexible personality fit preferred for the team environment
- Facility-provided scrubs in Ceil Blue color
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
