Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring a CO or compact license and multiple emergency certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Variable mid and night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 shifts per day
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire prior to assignment start date
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ED setting
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer and monitor patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
