Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of CVICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Works in the Intensive Care Coronary/CVICU unit of a hospital
- Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license, Single State or CO Compact
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, all AHA certifications must not expire prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for CVICU patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and delivers therapeutic and restorative treatment
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Reviews and monitors ongoing therapy and treatment plans
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift based on business need
- Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
