Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting within a hospital
- Night shift, 6:45pm-7:15am with weekend rotation per unit schedule
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required
- Critical access facility experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- NRP certification preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of ED patients
- Provides patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
- Mentors and precepts staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Complies with regulatory standards and unit-based Practice Governance model
