Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 6-week night shift assignment at a teaching hospital, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure and recent Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Imaging department at a teaching hospital
- Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- No call required, with 1-2 weekend shifts per month
- Schedule requires flexibility; no block schedules
- Shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Philips MRI equipment experience highly preferred, though strong candidates without it will be considered
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience preferred
- First-time travelers may be considered if they meet all other requirements
- Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to lack of public transit access near the facility
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months (November-April)
- Local candidates accepted
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
