Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 16-week assignment requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure and teaching hospital experience.
Details
- Imaging department at an academic medical center
- Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shift schedule
- 8H Rotating shift pattern, 40 hours per week
- 1-2 weekend shifts per month required
- No call requirements
- Schedule flexibility required
- No block schedules accepted
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Philips MRI equipment experience highly preferred, though strong candidates without it will be considered
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions held on Mondays
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history details including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for consideration
- Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area
- All-season or snow tires recommended for vehicles during November through April
- Local candidates accepted
