Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 1+ years of Cath Lab, CRM, and Peripheral Vascular experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 5 procedure suites
• Staffed by 1 Director, 1 CNC, approximately 4.6 RNs, and 5 techs
• Day shift staffed fully; night shift covered by on-call crew for emergent cases only
• Patient ratio of 1 patient to 3-4 staff members
• Utilizes specialized equipment including Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator
• Uses MacLab and Meditech EMR systems
• Performs diagnostic and interventional cath procedures, peripheral vascular, pacers, ICDs, Watchman, and TAVR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required, in line with hospital employee schedules

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Cardiac Cath, CRM, and Peripheral Vascular experience required
• EP/ABL experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Florida requires two professional references

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab setting at a Level II Trauma Center
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Holiday coverage required in rotation with hospital employees
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
