Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and 1+ years of experience in specialty.

Details

Outpatient perinatal clinic setting within a float pool covering Woodbury, Edina, and Mercy clinics with minimal rotation to United and ANW clinics
Maternal Fetal Medicine and High Risk OB patient population
1:1 patient ratio
Day shifts, 9 shifts per two-week period, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
No weekend or on-call requirements
Uses Philips EPIQ Elite and GE Voluson Expert 22 ultrasound machines
Charting completed in Epic (Excellian)

Requirements

ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required; ARDMS FE preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine/Perinatal ultrasound required
License required if applicable
Epic/Excellian charting experience preferred
Skilled in fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, amniotic fluid index, nuchal translucency screen, umbilical cord Doppler, and multi-pregnancy scanning
Experience with fetal Doppler studies including MCA, UAR, and DV
Proficiency in placenta previa, vasa previa, and accreta evaluations
Experience with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling procedures
Transvaginal and renal/pelvis ultrasound skills required
Perinatal experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

Perform maternal fetal medicine diagnostic studies including TTTS surveillance and fetal anomaly evaluations
May float within scope to perinatal clinics at Woodbury, Edina, and Mercy locations, with minimal rotation to United and ANW clinics
Grey scrub color required
RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days during the assignment
Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as a perm employee
Local candidates accepted only for radiology positions; all other positions require a 100-mile radius from the facility
First-time travelers are accepted for this position
