Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient perinatal clinic setting requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and 1+ year of specialty experience.

Details

Outpatient perinatal clinic setting within a float pool covering Woodbury, Edina, and Mercy clinics with minimal rotation to United and ANW clinics
1:1 patient ratio
Day shift schedule with 9 shifts in a two-week period from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
No weekend or on-call requirements
Uses Philips EPIQ Elite and GE Voluson Expert 22 ultrasound machines
Epic (Excellian) charting system

Requirements

ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required, ARDMS FE preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in maternal fetal medicine/perinatal ultrasound
License required if applicable
Perinatal experience preferred
Experience with maternal fetal medicine diagnoses including TTTS surveillance, fetal anomalies, and fetal Doppler (MCA, UAR, DV)
Skilled in fetal echo, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and placenta previa/vasa previa/accreta evaluations
Proficient in OB/GYN ultrasound across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters
Skills in amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screen, umbilical cord Doppler, and fetal biometry measurements
Experience with transvaginal and renal/pelvis ultrasound
Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

Perform high-risk OB and maternal fetal medicine ultrasound procedures including amniocentesis and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration
May float within scope to affiliate clinics to meet facility needs
First-time travelers accepted
Grey scrub color required
Local candidates accepted
Candidates outside the local area must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as a perm employee (staff or per diem)
RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days
