Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a day shift hospital position, requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and no new grads.
Details
- Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics unit setting
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (6:45 AM-7:15 PM)
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No on-call requirements
- Epic charting system experience preferred
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- CRT or RRT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
- Must be an experienced Respiratory Therapist, no new graduates considered
- Compact or LA license required in hand at time of submission
Additional Information
- May be assigned to an emergency response team during declared emergency events, with expectations to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team
- First-time travelers will be considered as long as they have prior RT experience
- Orientation is held five days a week
- Two Manager/Supervisor references required to obtain clearance to start (Charge RNs not accepted)
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors at this facility within the past year
- Facility does not accept local candidates and requires candidates to live 65+ miles from the site
- RTO must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
