Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a day shift hospital position, requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and no new grads.

Details

  • Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics unit setting
  • Day shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (6:45 AM-7:15 PM)
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

  • Current ACLS and BLS certification
  • CRT or RRT certification required
  • State license required if applicable
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
  • Must be an experienced Respiratory Therapist, no new graduates considered
  • Compact or LA license required in hand at time of submission

Additional Information

  • May be assigned to an emergency response team during declared emergency events, with expectations to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team
  • First-time travelers will be considered as long as they have prior RT experience
  • Orientation is held five days a week
  • Two Manager/Supervisor references required to obtain clearance to start (Charge RNs not accepted)
  • Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors at this facility within the past year
  • Facility does not accept local candidates and requires candidates to live 65+ miles from the site
  • RTO must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
