Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring a compact or OK RN license and prior telemetry experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Floating required to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• No block scheduling requests accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required (pending state license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral/PICC line management
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy management
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Proof of residence (utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement) in candidate's name matching address within the last three months required
• Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg and telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Manage wound care, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols
• Support orthopedic patients including total joint replacement and peripheral nerve block catheter care
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO allowed
• Former INTEGRIS employees must have at least one year of separation to be eligible
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Any employment gaps of three months or more must be explained in work history
