Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele experience and current NIHSS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities if needed
• No block scheduling accommodations available
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) required, pending licenses not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required, showing residence more than 75 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the unit
• Maximum RTO of 5 days per assignment, with no holidays or blackout dates permitted
• Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Floating requirement extends to all sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible for travel assignments
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
