Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a fast-paced acute care unit requiring at least 2 years of travel Med/Surg experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit with 30 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4/5
• Acute Care Medical Surgical patient population
• Uses Epic EMR
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday) plus at least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period
• PRN and holiday availability based on unit need
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to like units required

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience required
• At least 2 years of travel experience on a Medical Surgical unit required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Team player with a flexible schedule and positive attitude preferred
• Navy scrub color required; hoodies, non-scrub jackets, and crocs are not permitted
• Must be available every day during the first week of orientation for onboarding
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate within a 50-mile radius
