Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Nursing unit (4-South) in a hospital setting
• 30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Medical Surgical patient population
• Night shift schedule, 3x12's, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required (Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday)
• At least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays required within a 6-week period
• Holiday availability based on unit need
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating to like units required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent travel experience on a Medical Surgical unit required
• Acute Care/Medical Surgical experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Reports to Heart Center, 4th floor, with designated parking available near the ER in yellow-lined spots
• Must be available every day during the first week of orientation for onboarding
• Navy scrub color required; hoodies, non-scrub jackets, and crocs are not permitted
• Positive, team-oriented candidates with flexible scheduling preferred
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
