Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Nursing Surgical Unit setting in a hospital environment
• 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic EMR
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current license and primary source verification, including Nursys, within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a surgical nursing unit
• Must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before their assignment end date
