Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) for a full-time float position requiring 2 years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

  • Float position covering multiple locations within the health system, with shift location confirmed 2-4 hours prior to start
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Weekend shifts as needed
  • Full-time float assignment between multiple facility locations

Requirements

  • CRT or RRT accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • 18 months of recent experience in the specialty, preferably within the last 3 years
  • Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration
  • License required if applicable
  • NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
  • BLS certification required (AHA certifications required)
  • One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required; co-worker references will not be accepted
  • Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
  • All RTO must be discussed during the interview and included at time of consideration
  • Locals accepted at the same bill rate
  • Facility does not accept candidates with hits on their professional license or open background check cases
  • Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start, updated annually
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
  • BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
  • Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
  • Assignments are limited to 18 consecutive months, followed by a required 6-month break before returning to any location within this health system
  • First-time travelers not specified as excluded
