Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and CT advanced registry, plus 2+ years of experience, for a night shift contract role.

Details

• 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, 40 hours per week
• Serves ED, inpatient units, observation units, and outpatient populations
• Facility average inpatient census of approximately 400
• Performs an average of 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends
• Provides CT guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed
• Performs Cardiac CT imaging on day shift, 7 days a week
• EMR is EPIC with Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS
• Equipment includes 3 CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge+) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
• On call requirement of 2-3 shifts per month
• No weekend rotation or floating requirements

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Minimum 12 months of core work experience in CT, with most recent experience within the last year
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Proficient in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning
• Experience with stroke imaging including perfusion studies
• Experience with colorectal studies
• TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Administrative onboarding includes 1 day covering Epic, eLearnings, and policy review
• Departmental orientation ranges from 2 days to 1 week depending on need, including weekdays even for weekend positions
• Black scrub color required
• Free parking available in surface lot and parking decks
• Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
• Final interview conducted by the manager
