Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and CT advanced registry, plus 2+ years of experience, for a night shift contract role.
Details
- 10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, 40 hours per week
- Serves ED, inpatient units, observation units, and outpatient populations
- Facility average inpatient census of approximately 400
- Performs an average of 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends
- Provides CT guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed
- Performs Cardiac CT imaging on day shift, 7 days a week
- EMR is EPIC with Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS
- Equipment includes 3 CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge+) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
- On call requirement of 2-3 shifts per month
- No weekend rotation or floating requirements
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Minimum 12 months of core work experience in CT, with most recent experience within the last year
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
- Proficient in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning
- Experience with stroke imaging including perfusion studies
- Experience with colorectal studies
- TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
- Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

- Facility offers X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine with Radiology Nursing support
- TJC Stroke accredited facility with no trauma designation
- Guest Services/Transport support available for inpatient and observation patients
- Administrative onboarding includes 1 day covering Epic, eLearnings, and policy review
- Departmental orientation ranges from 2 days to 1 week depending on need, including weekdays even for weekend positions
- Black scrub color required
- Free parking available in surface lot and parking decks
- Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
- Final interview conducted by the manager
