Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• 10-bed ICU within a community hospital setting
• Cares for critically ill adult patients including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Occasionally manages pediatric patients during early stabilization before transfer to tertiary centers
• Manages acute stroke patients via telestroke/tele-neurology services as a certified Primary Stroke Center
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Every third weekend required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
• MA license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population including cardiac, surgical, and stroke cases
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
