Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT/X-ray Technologist with 1+ years of CT and X-ray experience to work independently in a Level 3 Trauma Center radiology department.

Details

• Radiology department in a 25-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center
• 8-bed unit with mainly outpatient and ED patient population
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Toshiba CT equipment and EPIC EMR
• Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Normally no call requirements
• Float requirements between CT and X-ray
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification required, license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT and X-ray experience
• Able to perform CT and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently without constant supervision
• Must be able to work self-sufficiently for portions of the shift

Additional Information

• Prepares orders, assumes responsibility for designated procedures, and finalizes exams within the EMR
• Transports patients between the ED and Radiology department
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Radiology Manager
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, exemptions must be client approved
• Black scrub color required, no non-Mercy branded t-shirts allowed
• Accepts local candidates
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to local candidate rate adjustments and contract limitations
