Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neonatal ICU RN for a rotating shift assignment requiring NRP certification and experience with vasoactive medications.

Details

  • NICU setting caring for neonatal patients requiring intensive care
  • Rotating 3x12 shifts with 0700/1900 start times
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • May float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Current NRP certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
  • At least 1 completed travel contract required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Experience administering epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine required
  • One supervisory reference required at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Contribute professional clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Not eligible if employed by the facility within the past 12 months
  • Local candidates accepted with a rate reduction
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility considered local

Pros

I am staff and love it, but I have seen travelers come in and love the unit and have eased right into the job. Everyone is super nice and supportive!

Cons

Cost of living in Madison is a bit higher, but the pay will make up for it.
