Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and 2+ years of recent CT experience to serve inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients across 3 CT machines.
Details
- Inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient population
- Department equipped with 3 CT machines
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend and holiday rotation included
- No call requirements
- Potential to float within scope to other like units
Requirements
- ARRT certification and IEMA license required
- Active IL license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required
Additional Information
- Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
- RTO must be submitted with candidate profile

The pay was good and the staff was reasonably supportive.
Cons
The paperwork was sometimes byzantine. They use a version of Epic that is customized to the facility. Someone is always looking over your shoulder and evaluating your fitness for the job. You have to rock that charting!
