Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Oncology unit position on nights, requiring ONS certification and a VA or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient Oncology unit with a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit and a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU)
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
- 36 or 48 hour options available
- Every other weekend required, with 2 of 3 winter holidays required
- Float required per facility policy
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- ONS certification required, with certificate to be provided
- ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification required, pending completion accepted prior to start depending on experience
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to adult hematology/oncology and stem cell transplant patients
- Maximum of 40 hours of requested time off allowed during the assignment
- Longer assignment length available through 01/02/2027
- First-time travelers may be considered
