Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele Float RN for a night shift assignment requiring TN or compact RN license and float flexibility across multiple units.

Details

• Float pool position covering MS/Tele, ER Holding, and possibly PCU/Stepdown units depending on skills and need
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Uses Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication system
• Weekend requirement of 6 weekend nights per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required (can be obtained after offer)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Must be able to pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Must be open to floating to multiple unit types based on facility need

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to medical/surgical and telemetry patients across multiple float units
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Requested time off will not be accommodated during designated holiday weeks, including Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Holiday RTO requests may be addressed with the manager after arrival onsite using the RTO form
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced bill rate
