Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring couplet care and postpartum/med-surg skills for hysterectomy patients on night shift.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit with 4 labor beds, 4 triage beds, and 13 obstetric beds
• Provides care across obstetric floor, couplet care, and hysterectomy patients requiring basic med-surg skills
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7p-7a
• Bi-weekly orientation

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required skills in Antepartum, L&D, Postpartum, and OB care
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN for fetal monitoring
• STABLE certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required due to unit skill mix
• Two current references required for consideration

• Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and couplet care needs
• Scrubs provided
• Flexible RTO policy, though at least one holiday must be covered
• Contract length is flexible and schedule can be discussed during interview
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced pay rate
