Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a minimum of 2 years of circulating experience and an active OK or compact RN license.
Details
- Operating Room unit assignment
- 13-week contract length
- Day shift schedule, 5x8.5 hours (6:30 AM-3:00 PM)
- Late shift rotation until 7:00 PM required 1-2 times per week
- On-call responsibilities currently covered but may be required
- Uses Meditech charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (State or Compact) in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience required
- Meditech charting experience required
- Experience with thoracic, general surgery, orthopedic, urology, and emergency management procedures
- Skilled in specimen handling, infection control, radiation safety, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedures
- Cell saver equipment experience
Additional Information
- Perform circulating duties across a variety of surgical specialties including thoracic, general surgery, orthopedic, and urology procedures
- No RTO will be accepted for this assignment
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Travel pairs accepted
