Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment covering IP, ER, OP, and IR CT procedures.

Details

• 199-bed hospital with a 22-bed ER and 32-bed critical care unit
• CT department equipped with GE 64 and 512 slice CT scanners
• Uses Meditech documentation system and Change HealthCare PACS
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No floating required
• Every other weekend rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic/CT Technologist
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• NM State License in Radiography and CT required (License required if applicable)
• Must be able to work independently and cover IP, ER, OP, and IR procedure exams
• Cardiac experience is a plus
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform all CT exams including CTA hearts and calcium scoring
• Scrubs of any color permitted for dress code
• Must demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, positive attitude, compassion, and empathy
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for a travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start per New Mexico state requirements for all clinical staff
