Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Facility night shift position requiring WI or compact RN licensure and prior rehab or med-surg experience.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
- Rehab nursing unit serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work
- Uses Epic EHR
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- HS diploma required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Rehab and med-surg experience required
- Skilled nursing experience preferred
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing intensive rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, amputation, and other neurological or orthopedic diagnoses
- Strong customer service skills valued
- Facility is CARF-accredited for Stroke Specialty, Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Amputation Specialty Programs
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
