Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Facility night shift position requiring WI or compact RN licensure and prior rehab or med-surg experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
• Rehab nursing unit serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work
• Uses Epic EHR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• HS diploma required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Rehab and med-surg experience required
• Skilled nursing experience preferred
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing intensive rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, amputation, and other neurological or orthopedic diagnoses
• Strong customer service skills valued
• Facility is CARF-accredited for Stroke Specialty, Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Amputation Specialty Programs
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
