Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital-based role requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification.

Details

• Hospital setting within the Nuclear Medicine department
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 26-week assignment length
• Epic charting system preferred
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted site

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required, CNMT preferred
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Experience with Bone Scan (3 Phase, Limited, Whole Body), Myocardial studies, Exercise/Rest-Multiple procedures, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, and PET Scan
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, IV starts, and radioactive materials handling/storage/disposal
• Experience with Thyroid Studies, Uptake Scan, Lung Scan, and Ventilation/Perfusion studies preferred
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures including cardiac, respiratory, and skeletal imaging studies
• Responsible for safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities as permanent, travel, or per-diem staff
• Up-front RTO requests required at submission; minimal flexibility for holiday coverage, with commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays
