Description
American Traveler is seeking a Lead CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of lead experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 12-week day shift assignment.
Details
- Community hospital setting with CT services for adult and pediatric acute care, ED, and ICU patients
- Performs abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine/MSK, chest, and cardiac/vascular CT studies
- Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS system
- Requires Epic EMR experience within the last year
- Monday-Friday day shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- 12-week contract length
- Rotational on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Lead CT Technologist
- Minimum 2 years CT experience required
- ARRT(CT) and BLS certifications required
- FL State License required if applicable
- Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required within the past year
- Proficient in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
- Experience with special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and vascular/cardiac CTA preferred

- Serves as Lead CT Tech for the facility's South campus
- Responsible for oversight and management duties in addition to standard CT technologist tasks
- Local candidates will be considered for this role
- Candidates must not have worked at this facility within the past year to be eligible for return
