Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with cardiac, stroke, and trauma experience and required Siemens equipment proficiency for a Level I trauma center.

Details

• Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting within a Level I trauma center
• 3x12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck CT imaging with and without contrast
• Uses GE, Philips, Toshiba, and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS
• EPIC EMR experience required, minimum 1 year
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs, within scope of competency

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
• BLS certification required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Cardiac and stroke imaging experience required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and isolation precautions/PPE
• 1+ years of EPIC EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, and head/neck regions
• Preparation and administration of IV contrast media is part of daily responsibilities
• Works within a Level I trauma center supporting cardiac and stroke cases
• Orientation occurs weekly and includes annual compliance training requirements
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
