Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting within a hospital
- Night shift schedule from 6:45pm to 7:15am
- Works 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly
- Every other weekend required per unit need
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care ED RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide safe, effective, patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment
- Perform patient assessments and reassessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serve as a mentor/preceptor
- Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards
