Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT and Siemens experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment at a community hospital.
Details
- Evening shift schedule of 4x10 hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Performs CT imaging in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, ICU, and Level II trauma center settings
- Utilizes Siemens CT equipment
- Performs abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and vascular CT studies
- Performs image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Uses iSTAT, Power Ports, and PPACs for creatinine testing
- Utilizes EPIC EMR system
- May float to any Cone Health campus as needed
Requirements
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Siemens equipment experience required
- Procedural experience required, including IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration
- Experience with iSTAT and PPAC creatinine testing preferred, training available if needed
- Community hospital experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
- Current driver's license required for address verification
Additional Information
- Performs a range of special procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainage, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography
- Coronary CTA and colonography experience preferred
- Follows isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and radiation safety standards
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, and no local rates apply
- First-time travelers may be considered but must be able to quickly train and start within one week of the assignment start date
- RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; post-submission RTO requests are not accepted
