Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-ray Technologist for a solo night shift assignment requiring dual-modality experience and ARRT (CT) and (R) certification.

Details

• Combined CT and X-ray technologist role in a hospital setting
• Serves adult and pediatric patients across acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, and Level I/II trauma settings
• Solo shift position requiring a strong, independent clinician
• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule with no call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required
• Uses PACS and Philips CT equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year combined CT/X-ray experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Travel experience highly preferred due to solo shift responsibilities
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Proficient in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Skilled in coronary and vascular CTA preferred
• Experience preparing and administering contrast media
• Proficient in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging across a wide range of studies including trauma, vascular, and contrast-enhanced procedures
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with no exceptions for positive results
• Candidates should avoid CBD or other substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to arrival
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 110-mile radius of the facility
• Travel experience highly preferred given the solo nature of the assignment
