Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures with ARRT (R) certification and interventional radiography experience.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit
- 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
- 40 hours per week with rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements
- Mandatory overtime may apply as part of the unit's rotation pool for coverage
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required
- 2+ years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures preferred
- Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred
- Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional registry by ARRT, or registry eligible with certification obtained within six months of start
- Connecticut state license to practice radiography required, if applicable
- Current BLS and/or ACLS certification required
- Considerable knowledge of physiology, anatomy, diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety policies
