Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures with ARRT (R) certification and interventional radiography experience.

Details

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit
  • 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
  • 40 hours per week with rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements
  • Mandatory overtime may apply as part of the unit's rotation pool for coverage

Requirements

  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • 2+ years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures preferred
  • Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred
  • Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional registry by ARRT, or registry eligible with certification obtained within six months of start
  • Connecticut state license to practice radiography required, if applicable
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS certification required
  • Considerable knowledge of physiology, anatomy, diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety policies
