Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel position requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of trauma experience.
Details
- CT Scan department in a hospital setting
- 3x12 night shift schedule, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every weekend required
- No call requirements
- Uses GE 64 Slice CT scanner
- Meditech documentation system
- Floating as needed per facility policy
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- TX Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of trauma experience required
- Experience with ER CT-Trauma, CTA, and Stroke protocols required
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging for trauma, CTA, and stroke cases in the emergency department
- Grey scrubs required for CT Tech role
- Professional grooming standards apply including clean, neatly trimmed hair and facial hair
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited and body art should be covered when feasible
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
