Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of trauma experience for a night shift position.
Details
- CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting
- Performs all ER CT-Trauma, CTA, and Stroke procedures
- Uses GE 64 Slice CT equipment
- Charting is done in Meditech
- 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Every weekend required
- Floating as needed per facility policy
- No call requirements
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- TX Radiologic License required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of trauma experience required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference requirements vary by state, with Florida and Missouri requiring two references and all other states requiring one
Additional Information
- Grey scrubs required for CT Tech staff
- Nails must be clean and healthy, hair neat with no extreme styles or colors, and facial hair neatly trimmed
- Body art should be covered whenever possible and visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates will not be considered
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months are permitted
