Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift role performing both CT and X-ray exams at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a WA state license.
Details
- Level III Trauma Center, short term acute care facility with 104 staffed beds
- CT/X-ray tech performing both CT and X-ray procedures, working solo after midnight
- Night shift, 4x10 hours, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating between units within the facility, though floating between sister facilities in the state may be required
- Epic EMR
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certification required
- Compact license must be in hand at time of submission - license required if applicable
- Experience with image display and post processing, abdomen and pelvis studies, head and neck imaging, spine and musculoskeletal imaging, and chest imaging
- Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media
- Peripheral IV starts and venipuncture skills required
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies, including contrast administration and radiation safety practices
- May float between sister facilities within the state, with refusal potentially resulting in termination of assignment
- Scrubs of any color accepted
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the offer process; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower bill rate
- Former Providence staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
- First-time travelers considered for this role
