Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of pediatric CVICU experience and the ability to float between NICU and PICU

Details

• Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit within a children's hospital setting
• Days and nights available with 7a-730p or 7p-730a shifts, decided at interview
• Assignment may float between multiple hospital locations in the Phoenix metro area
• Floating required between NICU and PICU units
• 26-week assignment

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license with multistate privileges, or ability to obtain licensure per AZ law prior to start
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in pediatric CVICU required
• Experience at a hospital with a Level III or IV NICU strongly preferred
• Experience floating between NICU and PICU required
• Children's hospital experience preferred
• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing required

• Deliver professional nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families in accordance with evidence-based practice standards
• Flu vaccination required October through April; exemption applications must be approved prior to starting
• Unvaccinated staff (Flu or COVID-19) must sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and mask during respiratory virus season
• COVID-19 vaccination recommended but not required
• Only RTO discussed and pre-approved during the interview will be granted
