Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ED RN with 2+ years of emergency department experience and required PALS/ACLS certifications for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Must be willing to float to Marana ED and sister hospitals including Northwest Medical Center, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
