Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience and KY or compact licensure.

Details

• 3 South Stepdown unit with 1:4/5 patient ratios
• Night shift schedule (3x12 and 4x12 rotating, 19:00-7:30)
• Float required within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Meditech charting system preferred experience

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of previous PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Driver's license required with address matching permanent address

Additional Information

• Care for patients requiring cardiac telemetry, neuro stepdown, and post-surgical monitoring
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted; medical and religious exemptions considered case-by-case
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Up to 7 days of RTO considered if presented upfront with no changes accepted
• Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
• Only local candidates within 75 miles of the facility will be accepted
• Travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after working one year before returning to this system
